Priyanka Chopra is presently in Mumbai to celebrate her brother Siddharth Chopra's wedding to actress Neelam Upadhyaya. On Wednesday, the haldi and mehendi ceremonies, part of the pre-wedding festivities, were held in the city. Priyanka was accompanied by her daughter Malti Marie, as well as her in-laws, Paul Kevin Jonas Sr. and Denise Miller-Jonas. Notably, her father-in-law endeared himself to fans with a thoughtful gesture.

Jonas arrived at the event alongside his wife, Denise, and daughter-in-law, Priyanka, taking a moment to pose for photographers outside the venue. As the evening drew to a close, the Chopra family emerged to express their appreciation to the media and paparazzi present. Family members distributed sweets, and Jonas participated by personally handing out sweet boxes to the photographers. He also took a moment to address them directly.

In a video shared by a fan club dedicated to Priyanka and Nick Jonas, he expressed to the paparazzi, "I want to extend my thanks on behalf of Priyanka. We would like to offer you some food in appreciation for your kindness." He then performed a namaste gesture and reiterated his gratitude. Additionally, Priyanka's cousins expressed their thanks to the paparazzi on the red carpet.

Paul Kevin Jonas' thoughtful gesture impressed many fans. One individual remarked, "What a true gentleman." Another commented, "I’m thrilled that Priyanka’s in-laws are present. Representing Nick. Love this." A further remark stated, "Papa Jonas is incredibly sweet."

Priyanka is currently in India for her brother Siddharth's wedding. Earlier on Wednesday, she joyfully participated in her family's haldi ceremony, sharing numerous photos from the event on social media.

Priyanka arrived in India last month and went directly to Hyderabad, sparking speculation that she has signed on for SS Rajamouli's upcoming project alongside Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu. The screenplay is penned by Vijayendra Prasad, with Rajamouli at the helm. Additional information about the cast remains undisclosed. After spending nearly a week in Hyderabad, Priyanka travelled to Mumbai over the weekend in preparation for her brother's significant occasion.

Siddharth Chopra became engaged to actress Neelam Upadhyaya in August 2024, following their roka ceremony in April 2024.
