Priyanka Chopra returned to India in January, coinciding with rumours regarding her role in SS Rajamouli's forthcoming film featuring Mahesh Babu, titled SSMB 29. Recently, the actress was seen arriving in Mumbai to participate in the wedding festivities of her brother, Siddharth Chopra.

The actress beamed at the photographers and even gestured to the paparazzi before proceeding to her vehicle. She travelled to Mumbai from Hyderabad, where it is speculated that she has been preparing for SSMB 29.

The actress exuded elegance in a stylish all-white outfit that included a translucent white blouse and coordinating shorts. She accessorized her appearance with white footwear, a matching cap, black sunglasses, and a brown handbag. The actress is prepared to greet her sister-in-law, Neelam Upadhyay.

Previously, while sharing images from her brother's Hastakshar and ring ceremony held in August 2024 in Mumbai, Priyanka posted on Instagram, "And they did it. With the blessings of their parents, friends, and families, on our dad’s birthday. Their हस्ताक्षर (Hastakshar) and ceremony (sic)."

Priyanka Chopra's Hyderabad visit

Priyanka was observed visiting temples in Hyderabad following her arrival in India last month. On January 21, she took to Instagram to share a collection of images and videos from her visit to the Chilkur Balaji Temple in Telangana. The actress appeared elegant in a light blue salwar suit, draping her dupatta over her head for one of the photographs. In her post, she expressed, "With the blessings of Shri Balaji, a new chapter begins. May we all find peace in our hearts and prosperity and abundance all around us. God's grace is infinite. || ॐ नमो नारायणाय || Thank you @upasanakaminenikonidela ❤️❤️"

The actress has not officially verified her participation in the Rajamouli film; nonetheless, her Instagram story, which showcased her travels from Toronto to Hyderabad accompanied by the song "Roar of RRR," led fans to believe in her involvement in the project. The film is reported to be an action-adventure, reminiscent of Indiana Jones. It was formally inaugurated in Hyderabad with a pooja ceremony. However, the producers chose not to release any images from the event to maintain the secrecy of Mahesh’s appearance.
