Actor Priyanka Chopra is set to join another Hollywood comedy. She’s teaming up again with her Baywatch co-star Zac Efron for a new film directed by Nicholas Stoller, which will be released by Amazon MGM Studios. The cast also includes Michael Peña and Will Ferrell.

As reported by Hollywood Reporter, the movie features Regina Hall, Jimmy Tatro, and Billy Eichner alongside Zac Efron. Nicholas is directing the film based on his own screenplay, marking a reunion with the studio that produced his recent project, You’re Cordially Invited, which starred Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon.

Originally named Judgment Day, the film tells the story of a young convict (played by Zac Efron) who, after being released from prison, takes a reality TV courtroom hostage. He believes that the judge (Will Ferrell) made a decision that ruined his life.

Details about Priyanka and Michael's roles in this upcoming comedy are still under wraps, with information being kept secret.

Priyanka teased her participation by posting a glimpse of the casting announcement on her Instagram stories, creating excitement among her fans.

The film is being produced by Will Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum, and Alex Brown for Gloria Sanchez Productions, along with Nicholas for Stoller Global Solutions.

In the meantime, Priyanka has been hard at work filming her upcoming project with director SS Rajamouli. She just finished a shooting stint in Koraput, Odisha. The movie features Mahesh Babu as well. The story for SSMB 29 has been crafted by Rajamouli’s father, writer Vijayendra Prasad, and it’s expected to be an action-adventure reminiscent of Indiana Jones. Priyanka has a bunch of other thrilling projects in the pipeline, including Heads of State with Idris Elba and John Cena. Additionally, she’ll portray a 19th-century Caribbean pirate in The Bluff. Fans can also look forward to seeing her in the web series Citadel 2.
