Earlier today, Rakesh Roshan revealed that his son Hrithik will direct Krrish 4, the fourth installment in the Koi...Mil Gaya franchise. The film will be co-produced by both Rakesh and Aditya Chopra.

The director shared this news on Instagram, stating, “Duggu, 25 years ago I introduced you as an actor, and today, after a quarter of a century, you are being launched as a director by two filmmakers, Aditya Chopra and myself, to advance our most ambitious project, #Krrish4. I wish you all the success in this new role, along with my best wishes and blessings!”

Priyanka Chopra expressed her enthusiasm in the comments section with folded hands, fire, and heart emojis, prompting speculation among fans about her potential return as Priya Mehra in the film. In response to her comment, one fan inquired, "Are you doing it?" while another asked, "Priya Mehra, are you coming back?" Additionally, a fan earnestly requested her return, stating, "Come back in Krrish."

In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Rakesh Roshan announced, “I am handing over the directorial responsibilities of Krrish 4 to my son, Hrithik Roshan, who has been deeply invested in this franchise since its beginning alongside me. About the Krrish films

The inaugural Krrish film debuted in 2006 as a continuation of Koi…Mil Gaya. The narrative progresses with Rohit Mehra (played by Hrithik Roshan) and Nisha’s (Preity Zinta) son, Krishna (also portrayed by Hrithik), who lives a protected life under the care of his grandmother Sonia (Rekha). However, his life takes a dramatic turn when he ventures into the world in pursuit of his love, Priya (Priyanka Chopra). He ultimately adopts the persona of the superhero Krrish to combat evil. This franchise has become one of the most successful in Indian cinema.
