On Wednesday, Priyanka Chopra utilized Instagram to post a series of images depicting Los Angeles before and after the wildfires, accompanied by a poignant message. She expressed, "I (heart emoji) you LA. My heart feels incredibly heavy. Although I am profoundly thankful for the safety of my family, many of our friends, colleagues, and fellow residents of Los Angeles have suffered significant losses. These fires have uprooted numerous families and ravaged entire communities, creating an urgent demand for reconstruction and assistance."

The wildfires have caused significant destruction over extensive regions, resulting in the loss of up to 25 lives. Priyanka emphasized the dedication of firefighters, first responders, and volunteers who are working relentlessly to extinguish the flames and offer assistance. She referred to them as "true heroes," commending their courage and unwavering commitment in these challenging circumstances.

Priyanka Chopra urges fans to contribute to relief efforts

In addition to conveying her sorrow, Priyanka encouraged her followers to participate in relief initiatives. She provided information on various resources and organizations actively assisting those impacted, such as the California Fire Foundation (@cafirefound), Baby2Baby (@baby2baby), and the American Red Cross (@americanredcross).

She stated, “Throughout the past week, I have encountered numerous GoFundMe campaigns and organizations diligently working to offer assistance. If you are in a position to do so, please consider making a donation to those who have lost everything or supporting these organizations... Every donation, regardless of its size, makes a significant difference.”

The wildfires in Los Angeles have destroyed over 4,000 structures and compelled more than 130,000 individuals to evacuate their residences. Numerous prominent figures in Hollywood, including Paris Hilton, Mandy Moore, Billy Crystal, James Woods, and Spencer Pratt, along with Heidi Montag, have also been affected, losing their homes to the fires. Additionally, celebrities such as Ben Affleck, Tom Hanks, and Adam Sandler were required to evacuate their properties.
