Priyanka, Nick at Red Sea Film Festival
Priyanka received an honorary award at the Red Sea Film Festival, presented to her by Sarah Jessica Parker, who referred to it as a "true honour" to acknowledge Priyanka's accomplishments. During her acceptance speech, Priyanka conveyed her heartfelt appreciation for the recognition.
Reflecting on her professional journey, she recounted how, at the outset of her career, she was informed that non-English films would struggle to gain international traction. "I hail from an industry that primarily produces Hindi and Telugu films, which are essentially non-English. Yet, here we stand today," she stated, praising the festival for establishing a platform that transcends geographical, linguistic, and national boundaries.
Additionally, she took a moment to pay tribute to her late father, who passed away in 2013. "My father was the first entertainer I ever encountered. He demonstrated the joy of being the life of the party. He embodied that spirit and taught me to embrace both confidence and vulnerability," she remarked.
