Bollywood celebrities such as Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal have expressed their outrage over the brutal attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on April 22, which resulted in the deaths of at least 26 civilians and injured many more. Priyanka Chopra has also joined in condemning the violence, sharing a heartfelt message on her Instagram to honor the innocent lives lost.

Priyanka took to Instagram to express her thoughts, saying, 'What went down in Pahalgam is just awful. Folks were there enjoying their vacations, celebrating honeymoons, and spending time with family, soaking in the beauty of Kashmir. So many innocent people got caught up in a situation they never wanted, right in front of their loved ones.'

The message continued, "This terrible attack should really make us all think. It's something that will stick with us for a long while. To everyone who is grieving, displaced, mourning, or living in fear, I'm thinking of you and sending my prayers. I'm truly heartbroken over this."

On Tuesday at 3 pm, a tragic event unfolded in Pahalgam's Baisaran, Jammu and Kashmir, when terrorists opened fire on innocent civilians, resulting in the deaths of at least 26 people and injuring 20 others. PM Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have promised to ensure that those responsible for this horrific attack face justice. Modi expressed on X, "We will not let those behind this terrible act go unpunished! Their malicious plans will fail. Our commitment to combating terrorism is unwavering and will only grow stronger." Amit Shah echoed this sentiment, stating, "We will not let the perpetrators of this heinous act escape justice, and we will respond with the utmost severity."
