Actor Priyanka Chopra recently grabbed attention as she joined her husband Nick Jonas for the Broadway premiere of The Last Five Years in New York on April 6. She posted some photos from the night on her social media, and one particularly cute moment featuring their daughter Malti is melting hearts online.

On Wednesday, Priyanka took to Instagram to post a collection of images from the memorable evening. She included photos of herself with Nick, as well as a shot with the show's leading lady, Adrienne Warren.

One picture shows the couple striking a pose on the red carpet, while another sweet moment captures Priyanka giving Nick a loving kiss. There’s also a solo shot of Priyanka where she radiates happiness, flashing a bright smile for the camera.

In her post, Priyanka wrote, “Opening night of @thelastfiveyears on Broadway. Truly incredible artistry. Congratulations to @nickjonas @adriennelwarren @yesimwhitneywhite @jasonrobertbrownstagram and the entire crew of the show.”

The night was even more special thanks to their daughter Malti, who created a handmade congratulations poster for her dad. Priyanka also shared a photo of Malti working on the card for Nick. This touching gesture made it into the couple’s collection of perfect moments from the evening and is truly winning hearts.

Nick showed his support for her post by leaving a heart emoji in the comments.

On March 18, Nick and Adrienne Warren hit the stage for the opening night previews of The Last Five Years. This production originally debuted in 2001 and was later adapted into a film featuring Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan in 2014. This marks Nick's comeback to Broadway after a 13-year hiatus since his role in the 2012 revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. The Last Five Years tells the story of a relationship's breakdown between Jamie (played by Nick), a budding novelist, and Cathy (played by Adrienne), a struggling actress, unfolding across two distinct timelines.

Priyanka Chopra's future projects

Priyanka has been hard at work filming her upcoming project with director SS Rajamouli. She just finished a shooting schedule in Koraput, Odisha. The movie also features Mahesh Babu. The story for SSMB 29 has been written by Rajamouli’s father, Vijayendra Prasad, and it’s expected to be an action-adventure reminiscent of Indiana Jones.

Priyanka's mom, Madhu Chopra, previously confirmed that she would be in the film. There are also rumors about Prithviraj Sukumaran taking on a significant role alongside Mahesh Babu, but neither he nor the production team has verified these claims yet.
