Priya Prakash Varrier attended an event recently where she nearly got tricked by an AI video of Vijay supposedly praising her performance in the new film Good Bad Ugly. She even requested the organizers to play the video again before realizing it was just a joke. Check out her reaction!

Vijay pulls a prank on Priya Prakash Varrier in a video

In a viral video, Priya is surprised by the host who mentions they have something special planned. They then show her a clip of Vijay complimenting her for nailing Simran’s moves from Good Bad Ugly. Priya, clearly emotional, asks to see the video again, saying, 'Is this for real? Can you play it one more time?' But the host quickly explains that the video is actually AI-generated, adding, 'Sorry, this isn’t real,' and suggests she has every right to be upset with whoever thought this was a good idea. Priya, caught off guard, gives an awkward smile and responds, 'This is too much... it feels really wrong and unfair. I was almost in tears.'

The actual video featured in the morphing comes from a virtual meeting held last week by Vijay's IT Wing admins. As per the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) IT wing's X (previously Twitter) account, he spoke to the group through a pre-recorded video, referring to them as 'virtual warriors'.

Priya shot to fame in 2019 when a clip from her first movie Oru Adaar Love went viral, earning her the nickname 'wink girl'. Since then, she's acted in films across Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, and even appeared in the Hindi movie Yaariyan 2 in 2023. Most recently, she was in Adhik Ravichandran’s Good Bad Ugly alongside Ajith Kumar, Trisha Krishnan, and Arjun Das, where she paid tribute to Simran by recreating the classic song Tak Tak Pesum Sultana, which got her a lot of praise.
