Actor Preity Zinta is currently attending the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela, aiming to immerse herself in the spiritual atmosphere of this esteemed gathering.

The actress, who frequently travels between the United States and India, has made a deliberate choice to engage with the vibrant energy of the Maha Kumbh Mela, which has attracted millions of devotees and seekers of spiritual experiences from around the world.

Preity shared her spiritual journey with her followers on Instagram and X, previously known as Twitter, stating, “All roads lead to the Maha Kumbh at Prayagraj (folded hand and trident emoji).”

In her post, she included a photograph of herself dressed in a white shirt, wearing sunglasses, and adorned with a garland. Her expression radiates tranquility.

Her fans expressed their joy at witnessing the actress embrace the spiritual essence of the Maha Kumbh, filling the comments section with affectionate messages, heart emojis, and thumbs-up symbols. Preity balances her life between the US, where she lives with her husband Gene Goodenough, and India, maintaining a lifestyle that harmonizes her personal and professional obligations.

Earlier in the day, Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif were also seen arriving at the mela. The Maha Kumbh Mela commenced on January 13, 2025, in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, and is scheduled to conclude on February 26. Numerous devotees have gathered at the Triveni Sangam—the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the legendary Saraswati rivers—to partake in the holy dip, seeking spiritual purification.

All road leads to Bollywood

Preity Zinta is set to return to the Hindi film industry with Rajkumar Santoshi's upcoming film, Lahore 1947. This project signifies her re-entry into cinema after a significant break. Lahore 1947 is produced by Aamir Khan Productions and features a talented cast that includes Sunny Deol, Shabana Azmi, Ali Fazal, and Karan Deol.

Preity completed filming for her comeback project in June of the previous year. Sharing insights into the film's production through a collection of behind-the-scenes images, she expressed her gratitude, stating, “It’s a wrap on Lahore 1947 and I couldn’t be more grateful to the entire cast and crew for such an incredible experience. I sincerely hope all of you appreciate and enjoy this film as much as we did making it. It’s definitely the toughest film I have worked on.”
