Preity shared her spiritual journey with her followers on Instagram and X, previously known as Twitter, stating, “All roads lead to the Maha Kumbh at Prayagraj (folded hand and trident emoji).”
In her post, she included a photograph of herself dressed in a white shirt, wearing sunglasses, and adorned with a garland. Her expression radiates tranquility.

The Maha Kumbh Mela commenced on January 13, 2025, in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, and is scheduled to conclude on February 26. Numerous devotees have gathered at the Triveni Sangam—the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the legendary Saraswati rivers—to partake in the holy dip, seeking spiritual purification.

Preity Zinta is set to return to the Hindi film industry with Rajkumar Santoshi's upcoming film, Lahore 1947. This project signifies her re-entry into cinema after a significant break. Lahore 1947 is produced by Aamir Khan Productions and features a talented cast that includes Sunny Deol, Shabana Azmi, Ali Fazal, and Karan Deol.
Preity completed filming for her comeback project in June of the previous year. Sharing insights into the film's production through a collection of behind-the-scenes images, she expressed her gratitude, stating, “It’s a wrap on Lahore 1947 and I couldn’t be more grateful to the entire cast and crew for such an incredible experience. I sincerely hope all of you appreciate and enjoy this film as much as we did making it. It’s definitely the toughest film I have worked on.”
