Manoj Koli, the dad of actor and YouTuber Prajakta Koli, opened up about his bond with her fiancé, Vrishank Khanal. During a chat on Yuvaa's YouTube channel, Prajakta shared that it was a bit of a challenge for him since she’s their only daughter. She also mentioned that when he found out about her relationship with Vrishank, which started over ten years ago when she was just 18, he acted like a "typical father."

Manoj shares his thoughts on what he first thought of Prajakta's boyfriend

Manoj reminisced about the time when Prajakta was heartbroken at home after Vrishank turned down her relationship proposal. He mentioned that he felt she was losing focus on her career. Manoj recalled, "You were just 17 or 18 back then, full of excitement and passion for your future. I saw it as a potential setback. I thought prioritizing a relationship at that age could be a mistake. I hadn’t even met Vrishank yet. Plus, you never mentioned anything about him to me... The first time I saw him was during Gauri pooja at our place. He was good-looking, had a great vibe, and was studying law to become a lawyer. I didn’t see any reason to object. But honestly, no matter how much parents might want to steer their kids, if they’re set on a relationship, it’s tough to change their minds."

Manoj has a close bond with Vrishank

Manoj opened up about his current relationship with Vrishank. He reminisced about how, during the Covid-19 lockdown, Vrishank showed him the ropes of winemaking. Manoj mentioned, "A good friendship can happen in two ways: over drinks or through ideas. We managed to connect on both levels... As I chatted with him, I realized he’s quite the gentleman. He’s knowledgeable and really skilled in his field. So, make him your friend first; he’s bound to become a son-in-law later. Better to be friends now so he doesn’t ask for anything in dowry."

About Prajakta and Vrishank

Prajakta then mentioned how her parents have a close bond with Vrishank. They often take trips together without her and even invite him over for dinner. Prajakta and Vrishank were in a relationship for a few years before they got engaged in 2023.
