However, the actress expresses that she has experienced a greater sense of empowerment in the South Indian film industry. When questioned about whether South Indian films have recognized her contributions as a heroine more than those in Hindi cinema, she confidently stated, "For sure, I don't think there is anything wrong in saying that."

The opportunities I have encountered have been significantly empowering, allowing me to explore my characters in depth. The chances I have received have all been in theatrical productions. It is important to acknowledge that the audience ultimately determines my success, as their decision to purchase a ticket reflects their interest. When individuals are willing to invest financially, I consider that to be the highest form of praise.

As a 'producer's actor,' Pooja elaborated on her desire to take on diverse roles, noting the scarcity of well-written parts for women. She referenced films such as All We Imagine as Light, Anora, and Laapatha Ladies, expressing her eagerness to participate in similar projects, emphasizing her identity as a 'producer's actor.'

The Jana Nayagan actor also expressed her willingness to invest in projects that resonate with her and that she believes deserve to be told.
