The incident occurred late Wednesday night when an intruder confronted Saif's maid. In an attempt to intervene and diffuse the situation, the actor became engaged in a struggle with the intruder, which resulted in his injuries. The Mumbai Police are actively investigating the matter, although the identity of the intruder has yet to be determined.
