About EXO
EXO, a boy band originating from South Korea and China, was established by SM Entertainment in 2011 and made its debut in 2012. The ensemble comprises nine members: Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, DO, Kai, and Sehun. Initially, the group was divided into two subunits, Exo-K (comprising Suho, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, DO, Kai, and Sehun) and Exo-M (which included Xiumin, Lay, Chen, Kris, Luhan, and Tao), totaling twelve members at the time of their debut.
Following the departures of Kris, Luhan, and Tao, EXO continued to perform as a unified group. In 2016, Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin launched Exo-CBX, while Sehun and Chanyeol began their activities as Exo-SC in 2019.
The group's inaugural studio album, XOXO, was released in 2013, and they achieved significant success with their hit single "Growl." In July of this year, EXO celebrated their return with the release of their seventh album, Exist. Currently, Kai is serving in the military, while Lay is engaged in solo endeavours in China.
