For those who are unaware, Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba is the sequel to the superhit film, Haseen Dillruba, which was released in 2021, on Netflix. Despite having quite a predictable storyline, the surprising climax remains the main beauty of the thriller drama.

A few days back Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey, with the help of Netflix, gave us some nostalgic flashbacks about Haseen Dillruba, which definitely means they wanted us to warm up for the sequel. Now, Massey and Sunny Kaushal have given some quirky hints about Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba, to Hindustan Times today.

The 12th Fail-actor mentioned that we might get to see a massive character shift of Rishu, compared to what he was before in the first instalment. There will be more suspense as well, which is created by himself only. Massey also hinted that the sequel will also explain how Rishu transformed into his deadly present version. He also revealed that Rani and Rishu are hiding from the police now and running away from one place to another.a

Sunny Kaushal’s spoilers

This time Vicky Kaushal's brother Sunny Kaushal will be seen in the lead, along with Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey. Till now we know that this time the love triangle will be between these three, rather than Harshvardhan Rane.

However, Sunny revealed that his character Abhimanyu has nothing to do with Rani and Rishu. He has no idea who they are, and from where they are coming from, and what's their secret. Another exciting thing about Abhimanyu is that he's an orphan, and has given up on his monotonous life, and that's when he will fall in love with Rani. That's how he gets entangled in their dangerous story.
