Pedro Pascal is criticizing JK Rowling for her anti-trans position. The Last of Us actor referred to the Harry Potter writer as a “heinous loser” for applauding the UK Supreme Court's decision that trans women are not legally recognized as women.

Last week, Rowling gained widespread attention for praising the significant ruling, asserting that it “protected” women's rights. She incited anger among internet users with her celebratory message on X, where she was photographed smoking a cigar while holding what seemed to be a cocktail in her other hand.

“I love it when a plan comes together,” the 59-year-old wrote as the caption for the photo. Although this was not the first time Rowling encountered criticism for her anti-trans views, activist Tariq Ra’ouf called on people to boycott every “single Harry Potter thing” on Instagram.

“It has become our responsibility as the general public to ensure that every single thing that’s Harry Potter related fails. . . because that awful disgusting stuff, that has consequences,” Ra’ouf stated. Supporting the activist's boycott against Rowling, Pascal remarked, “Awful disgusting ST is exactly right. Heinous LOSER behavior. ”

The 50-year-old actor, who is a devoted advocate for trans rights, then donned a “Protect the Dolls” T-shirt as part of a pro-trans initiative by American designer Conner Ives, at the London premiere of Marvel's Thunderbolts* on Tuesday, according to The Guardian.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps star has consistently supported LGBTQ+ rights. He is often seen with his sister, Lux Pascal, who identified as a trans woman in 2021, at red carpet events. Earlier in February, Pascal posted on Instagram, “A world without trans people has never existed and never will. ”
