Pedro Pascal addressed inquiries regarding his relationship with Jennifer Aniston following their dinner together in West Hollywood over the weekend. During the red carpet premiere for The Last of Us Season 2 on Monday, the 49-year-old actor was questioned about whether he was "trying to persuade" Aniston to become part of the HBO series.

When discussing Aniston, Pascal mentioned her Apple TV+ series, The Morning Show, stating, “Or I could appear on her show. That wouldn’t be a bad idea.” When asked if he would consider joining the Friends star’s program, he replied, “I would do anything for Jennifer,” as reported by The New York Post.

The actor went on to express his admiration for Aniston, highlighting her as a wonderful friend during challenging times. He remarked, “She’s that person. She’s that person for everyone. That’s really it. The best way I can describe it is that I remember… if you’re at a party and you make eye contact with Jen, she instantly understands what you’re feeling and knows how to comfort you.”

With a chuckle, Pascal added, “If you find yourself feeling overly relaxed at a party, just make eye contact with Jen Aniston, and she’ll soothe your nerves. You’ll think, ‘Oh no, everything is okay. I’m safe.’ As soon as your mind starts to race and you feel a bit paranoid, she’ll look at you, bring you a glass of water, and you’ll be just fine.”

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Pascal was inquired about the possibility of Aniston joining the cast of The Last of Us. The actor, known for his role in Fantastic Four, responded, “Oh, Jennifer and I are very good friends. I had dinner with her on Saturday. It was an enjoyable martini dinner.” The reporter humorously noted that the star of The Last of Us “can’t even enjoy a martini without everyone discussing it,” to which Pascal replied, “That’s her starlight. I’m merely basking in it.”

Rumors of a romantic relationship between Pascal and Aniston emerged after they were seen having a three-hour dinner at the Tower Bar in the Sunset Tower Hotel on Saturday. The two were observed leaving the well-known celebrity hotspot, engaged in conversation near the valet area before parting ways.

Nevertheless, a source informed Page Six, “There is no romantic involvement between Jennifer Aniston and Pedro Pascal. They hold mutual respect for each other as artists, but their relationship is strictly platonic and they are not dating.”
