The Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and actor Pawan Kalyan faced significant challenges for a decade before securing seats for his Jana Sena Party in the latest elections. In an interview with Thanthi TV, he shared his insights for Vijay, who is preparing to run in the upcoming Tamil Nadu elections in 2026 with his Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. 

Pawan Kalyan’s Guidance for Vijay  

During the interview, Pawan, regarded as a 'senior' figure in politics, was asked what advice he would offer to Vijay. Initially, he remarked that Vijay did not require his assistance, stating, “He doesn’t need my message or anything. He is quite experienced; he has his own journey. However, I would emphasize the importance of perseverance; you must remain steadfast. Regardless of the challenges, you need to endure. It’s better to navigate through the difficulties. Politics is a demanding path, and one must be ready for it. First, focus on stabilizing the party; winning can come later.”

Additionally, Pawan discussed the nature of politics, highlighting the sacrifices it demands while acknowledging that each individual has their unique approach. He noted, “You sacrifice your personal life; you face criticism and may become an adversary to many. Any statement you make can be misinterpreted. Every leader has a distinct style, just as every hero does. My approach works for me, but that doesn’t mean it will suit everyone.”

Upcoming Projects  

Pawan is currently balancing his political responsibilities with his film commitments, as he has yet to complete and release Krish and Jyothi Krishna’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu, Sujeeth’s They Call Him OG, and Harish Shankar’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh. He has recently filmed several schedules for Hari Hara Veera Mallu. Meanwhile, Vijay intends to retire from acting once he fully engages in politics. H Vinoth’s Jana Nayagan, expected to debut during Pongal next year, is anticipated to be his final film.
