On March 10, the Korean media outlet IZE reported that the esteemed actress has not yet finalized a contract for the new drama. Nevertheless, it is widely believed that she has come to a preliminary agreement to take on the leading role in this retro office comedy, which is set against the backdrop of the tumultuous late 1990s during the IMF crisis.

Should the esteemed actress approve the new role, Park Shin Hye will assume the guise of a 20-year-old high school graduate employed at a securities firm to investigate dubious financial activities. Transitioning from her distinguished position as an experienced financial regulator to that of a high school graduate office assistant managing a multitude of tasks, Park's humorous metamorphosis is anticipated to captivate a large audience.
Miss Undercover Boss is set to premiere on tvN in the first half of 2026. Park Seon Ho, known for the hit drama Business Proposal, is poised to take on the role of director. Meanwhile, Moon Hyun Kyung, recognized for her work on Into the Ring, will be responsible for the scriptwriting.
