Actors Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar have collaborated on several films, including Hera Pheri, Bhaagam Bhaag, OMG: Oh My God, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, and Garam Masala. During an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Paresh addressed a question regarding the frequency of Akshay's film projects each year and defended his decision to pursue such a prolific career.

When asked whether Akshay's numerous film choices impact the quality of his work, Paresh responded assertively, stating, “What is the issue if he chooses to undertake multiple films? Filmmakers approach him for projects, correct? Naturally, he receives compensation for his work; this is not a charitable endeavour. As a producer, I would only engage an actor if I can justify the financial investment I am making.”

He further emphasized that questioning Akshay's work ethic is unjust, remarking, “He simply enjoys his craft, and I fail to comprehend why this is criticized. He is not involved in illegal activities such as smuggling, bootlegging, drug dealing, or gambling. He is merely maximizing his work opportunities. Moreover, his films provide employment for thousands. I see no problem with this; where is the concern?”

In the same discussion, Paresh Rawal also highlighted the absence of insecurity in his friendship with Akshay, noting that both actors flourish in their respective domains. He described Akshay as ‘extremely hardworking’ and ‘honest,’ commending his integrity. Paresh referred to the financial rewards of collaborating with Akshay as a ‘bonus’ due to his enjoyment of the work.

He is set to appear in several upcoming films, including Jolly LLB 3, Housefull 5, Bhooth Bangla, Welcome to the Jungle, Hera Pheri 3, Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat, and The Bravery Legendary Untold Story of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, in addition to a cameo role in the Telugu film Kannappa. Paresh will join him in Bhoot Bangla, Welcome to the Jungle, and Hera Pheri 3. Furthermore, he has confirmed his participation in Badtameez Gill, Thama, and The Taj Story.
