Bollywood star Paresh Rawal, known for his memorable performance as Baburao, talked about the rumors surrounding Kartik Aaryan being removed from Hera Pheri 3 during an interview with Siddharth Kanan. He also shared his feelings about how Phir Hera Pheri ended up.

Paresh Rawal has confirmed that Kartik won't be joining the cast of Hera Pheri 3

Paresh recently shared some updates about Hera Pheri 3, mentioning that Kartik Aaryan was originally on board for the film. When asked if he was set to take on Akshay Kumar's role as Raju, Paresh explained, "Back then, the storyline was different. They brought him in thinking he would be Raju, but his role turned out to be something else entirely. That's what I know since I didn't get the full scoop either." He also noted that Kartik is no longer involved with the project because the story has shifted significantly.

When asked if he got too confident during Phir Hera Pheri, Paresh said no, pointing out that it was everyone else who got a bit too sure of themselves. He mentioned, "The film lost its charm because of that. Honestly, it didn’t turn out right. I told Neeraj, you’re cramming too much into this; it’s not necessary. I wanted him to keep the same straightforwardness that made the first part great. If you overdo it, things will definitely go wrong. People will laugh at everything, even if they see someone running around without clothes. But we don’t need to go that far. You’ve got to have a sense of balance."

Paresh also talked about the potential of his character Baburao, stressing how popular and valuable it is. He pointed out that a character like Baburao has goodwill worth ₹500 crore. He felt that just putting Baburao in a new setting and changing the jokes wouldn’t cut it. Instead, he thought the audience wanted to see Baburao take on a whole new adventure.
