Singer Papon and his crew didn’t let the storms and rainy weather dampen their spirits during their performances this week. He stayed true to his promise to his young fans, taking the stage in Dehradun and Noida to belt out his popular tracks, rain or shine. Fans recorded videos of him powering through the show, which quickly made their way onto social media.

Papon takes the stage even with the bad weather

Papon and his crew had plans to take the stage at Toluna's in Dehradun and Shiv Nadar University in Noida. The singer was set on keeping the vibe upbeat, regardless of the weather. Despite facing storms and rain, he pushed through and delivered an amazing performance.

No matter if it’s rain or a storm, it doesn’t make a difference

Papon shared his thoughts on performing, saying, "When the audience is filled with so much excitement and love, especially the students who have been eagerly waiting for the show, you can't let them down. Whether it's raining or storming, none of that matters at that moment. What truly counts is the connection we create. I had to perform—not just to be on stage, but because their energy, smiles, and faith in my music inspire me. That connection is what drives me—it goes beyond the weather and the stage. It’s about being there for the people who are there for me."

A fan account posted a clip of Papon singing one of his hit songs, ‘Jiyein Kyun,’ with hundreds of young fans singing along. The caption read, “Rain or shine, the show must go on! Papon gave two incredible performances that left everyone amazed. Take a bow!” One fan commented, “Incredible. When you perform with sincerity, nothing can hold you back.” Another fan said, “It was beautiful.” A third added, “He truly cares about his fans; I loved the show.”
