Actor Pankaj Tripathi recounted an incident from the early stages of his career when he discovered that his photograph had been displayed on a wanted board at a police station set. In his remarks, Pankaj noted that this occurred during a time when social media was nonexistent and only a limited number of casting agencies were available.

He stated, "At that time, there was no social media, and only a few casting agencies existed. Nowadays, the number of casting agencies has significantly increased. Back then, we had to visit various places, asserting our identities as actors. They would maintain a cardboard box where anyone could submit their photographs. At the end of the day, this box would be sent to the assistant’s office on the floor above. I submitted my photographs in numerous such boxes."
Pankaj elaborates on the circumstances
He continued, “On one occasion, a friend of mine was cast in a crime series that was set in a police station. He noticed a WANTED board on the set and called me to inform me, ‘Hey, they have put your photo on the wanted list.’ I was taken aback and asked, ‘How is that possible?’ I remembered that I had left several of my photos at their office. Consequently, when the art department required images of thieves or gangsters for the ‘Wanted’ board, they simply utilized those photographs, resulting in mine being displayed there.”
