Palash Vaswani has once again captivated audiences with his latest project, the web series Bada Naam Karenge. The director has taken the helm of this SonyLIV production, which is supported by the esteemed Sooraj Barjatya. Following the release of his series, Palash recently shared insights into his journey from Gwalior to Mumbai, as well as his transition from an engineering career in an IT firm to earning a master's degree in design from IIT Bombay.

Reflecting on his time at an IT firm, Palash Vaswani expressed how this experience led to a significant realization. "After completing my engineering degree, I accepted a position at an IT company, but unexpectedly, I was let go within a few months. It was during this time that I recognized I could no longer participate in the rat race. I revisited my childhood memories and my passion for filmmaking, which I had nurtured while using my father’s handycam," Palash recounted.

The filmmaker further disclosed that after obtaining his master's degree, he worked as a creative copywriter at an advertising agency, an experience that refined his storytelling abilities. "Before long, I transitioned into directing documentary films, short films, and eventually, web series and feature films. My life has changed dramatically since then," he noted.

Regarding his new series, Palash collaborated with Sooraj Barjatya for Bada Naam Karenge, expressing his honor in working alongside one of Bollywood's most revered filmmakers.

In discussing his OTT series, he stated, "The narrative possesses a sense of purity and a romantic essence. The story revolves around two families from differing economic backgrounds and contrasting ideologies coming together." The series premiered on February 7 and is currently available for streaming on OTTplay Premium.
