Palak Tiwari has been the subject of speculation regarding a romantic relationship with Ibrahim Ali Khan, the son of Saif Ali Khan. Their regular outings together have fueled these rumours. Recently, in an interview with SCREEN, Shweta Tiwari, the actress and mother of Palak, discussed the impact of these rumours on her, expressing her concerns about the potential for her daughter to face online trolling.
Shweta Tiwari reacts to Palak Tiwari's dating rumours
In response to inquiries regarding her perspective on the dating rumours surrounding her daughter, Palak Tiwari, Shweta Tiwari remarked, “I no longer find these rumours concerning. Over the years, I have come to understand that people's memories tend to last only about four hours. After that, they will forget the news, so there is no point in worrying. According to the rumours, my daughter is supposedly dating every third man, and I am said to be getting married annually. The internet claims I have been married three times already. Such matters do not impact me now; they once did, particularly before the rise of social media and when certain journalists preferred to write negatively about individuals. Negative narratives about actors tend to attract attention. Having navigated through that period, I find that it no longer affects me.”

She further reflected on how it was once simpler to persuade the audience, but now they have become more discerning and tend to 'bully' others. She mentioned that her daughter Palak has been instrumental in teaching her how to handle online trolls, adding, "At times, it does frighten me. Regardless of Palak's appearance, she possesses a deep innocence and is unable to retaliate against others. This current climate of trolling has become exceedingly harsh; despite her strength, I worry about the potential impact on her self-confidence. That thought is unsettling. Although people have attempted to undermine her, she chooses not to engage with the comments. However, one can never predict what might be hurtful. When she faces trolling, it deeply affects me."
Shweta Tiwari is widely recognized for her performances in acclaimed television series such as Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Parvarrish, and Begusarai, among others. Her daughter, Palak Tiwari, made her significant Bollywood debut in Salman Khan's film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. This film, which features actors like Shehnaaz Gill, Raghav Juyal, Pooja Hegde, and Siddharth Nigam, did not achieve commercial success at the box office. Palak is set to appear next in the horror-comedy The Virgin Tree, which also stars Sanjay Dutt, Mouni Roy, and Sunny Singh, and is anticipated to be released in 2025.
