As 2024 wraps up, Google is rolling out its list of the most-searched events, topics, and personalities from various countries. Recently, they shared the search trends from Pakistan, and it turns out that Indian films and shows have taken the top five spots!

Indian movies and series made it to the top 5 most-searched list on Google in Pakistan for 2024.

In Pakistan, when it comes to the most-searched movies and dramas, eight of them are from India, while only two local shows made it onto Google's most-searched list for 2024. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi tops the charts as the most-searched show in both India and Pakistan, while 12th Fail is the most searched film, landing in second place. Following that, Ranbir Kapoor and Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal takes the third spot, and Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal's Mirzapur season 3 comes in fourth.

Only a few Pakistani shows made Google's most-searched list for 2024.

The fifth spot on the list is taken by one of the biggest Indian hits of the year, Stree 2, featuring Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, and Pankaj Tripathi. This horror-comedy has not only made a splash in India but also in Pakistan. Following closely is the Pakistani drama Ishq Murshid, starring Bilal Abbas Khan and Durefishan Saleem, which has landed in the Top 6. Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, along with Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki and Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 17, are sitting in seventh, eighth, and ninth place, respectively.

In the tenth spot, we have the Pakistani drama Kabhi Hum Kabhi Tum, featuring Fahadh Mustafa and Hania Aamir, which has become a hit not just in Pakistan but also in India. You can catch the show on YouTube.

Interestingly, the only Indian figure that caught the attention of Pakistanis this year, according to Google, is Mukesh Ambani, who hosted his son Anant Ambani's extravagant wedding. This event was a major topic in India too, with stars like Rihanna, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Justin Bieber, and Kim Kardashian in attendance.
