Orhan Awatramani, known as Orry, is in hot water after he claimed that his touch helped a couple finally conceive after eight years of trying. This statement has led to a wave of mockery and backlash, with people comparing his comments to those made by actress Urvashi Rautela. 

Orry is dealing with some criticism

In a chat with ABP Live, Orry was asked about the buzz around his so-called magical touch. He shared an interesting story about how he once touched a friend, and shortly after, his wife became pregnant. This clip has made its way to Reddit.

During the conversation, he mentioned that he charges for performing at weddings, which led the interviewer to ask about the hype surrounding his ‘touch.’

“People think my touch can make them feel refreshed and younger. I don’t go around claiming that my touch has special powers. It’s just something people believe, and I’m not going to change that,” he explained.

Orry went on to share, “There was this guy who had been trying to get his wife pregnant for eight years without success. I touched him, and three months later, his wife was expecting. He called me to share the news. I’m not stepping into the doctors’ territory; I just know I gave him the touch... And she got pregnant after all that time. I touched him, and three months later, she was pregnant. It could be a coincidence, or maybe it’s not. I’m not the one saying it; he is.”

Fans are sharing their thoughts

A lot of folks on social media are saying that Orry is totally copying Urvashi, who’s famous for her offbeat and often shocking comments.

“He’s really desperate for that clout! It’s like he’s following the Urvashi playbook,” one user pointed out, while another added, “He’s got his own twist on it, lol. He knows exactly what he’s doing.”

“Honestly, he looks so fake doing this! He’s trying to go the Urvashi route,” said another commenter. One user joked, “I wouldn’t be shocked if someone posts next about the guy who got his wife pregnant after 8 years of marriage because Orry touched him?”

Someone even called him “Nepo Baba,” while another user wondered, “Who’s more pathetic—the interviewer, this sketchy guy, or me for actually watching this?”

“How many clueless people are there in Bollywood? All these nepo kids, like Orry, Urvashi, and Kangana—how can people be so brainless?” one user vented.

In the meantime, Orry was recently spotted hanging out with Urvashi at the India vs Pakistan cricket match on February 23, 2025, in Dubai, and he also showed up at her birthday party.
