Kunal Kohli took to the stage to present the award for Best Actor Female (Popular), and the audience was nearly unanimous in their belief that Kajol would be the recipient. Before the announcement, he shared an intriguing fact: “Only six actresses worldwide have won Best Actor awards spanning four decades. Listen to this list, and you will understand her remarkable talent—Helen Mirren, Katharine Hepburn, Ingrid Bergman, Meryl Streep, Nutan, and Kajol.” 

As Kajol made her way to the stage, she radiated inspiration. Nevertheless, she candidly discussed the challenging week she had experienced and took a moment to express her appreciation. “I want to extend my gratitude to the OTTplay Awards for their exceptional taste and for selecting me for this award. This week has been quite unusual, and standing here today reminds me of all the things I have to be thankful for. I feel loved, and I cannot express my gratitude enough.
