At the third edition of the OTTplay Awards 2025, held in Mumbai on March 22, she was honored with the Trailblazer of the Year (Female) award for her performances in both Sharmaji Ki Beti and Bandish Bandits Season 2.

In Sharmaji Ki Beti, Divya Dutta portrays Kiran Sharma, a young woman who relocates to Mumbai from a small town and grapples with her identity and familial relationships. Her portrayal of a housewife embarking on a journey of self-discovery is both touching and impactful.

In Bandish Bandits Season 2, Divya takes on the character of Nandini, a music instructor with a distinctive philosophy and a compelling backstory rooted in unrequited love, which significantly influences Tamanna's narrative and echoes the themes present in Amrita Pritam's life.

Divya was honored with an award presented by director Goldie Behl and Mary during a ceremony hosted by Aparshakti Khurana and Kubra Sait. While accepting the award, Divya Dutta expressed her gratitude, stating, "Thank you, OTTplay. I have always admired Amitabh Bachchan's films since my childhood. I aspired to be launched by notable figures and to win prestigious awards. Ultimately, I seek joy and fulfillment in my work." She also extended her thanks to her directors for providing her with valuable opportunities.

The OTTplay Awards 2025 attracted prominent figures from the Indian OTT industry, all gathered to celebrate the theme "One Nation, One Award." Notable attendees included the Roshans, Kajol, and Avneet Kaur, who were also recognized during the event, which featured celebrities from various film industries, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
