According to reports from TMZ, law enforcement discovered him at his residence, with a firearm located nearby, after responding to a 911 call from a neighbour who reported hearing a gunshot. Upon arrival, the police found him unresponsive and he was promptly transported to the hospital for emergency surgery.

Sources indicated that as of Thursday, Maco was in a coma and his condition had deteriorated significantly. Hospital staff reportedly made attempts to revive him but were unsuccessful. Furthermore, doctors faced challenges in obtaining a clear scan of his brain while trying to eliminate toxins from the rapper's system, as noted by The New York Post.
