Actor Nushrratt Bharuccha recently participated in an event where she had the opportunity to engage with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She took to Instagram to share a series of photos and videos from the CNN-News18 event.

Nushrratt expresses gratitude to PM Modi for her safe return from Israel  

In the initial photograph, Nushrratt is seen shaking hands with PM Modi. She expressed her gratitude to him for facilitating her safe return from Israel. The Prime Minister remarked, “Bada sankat tha... Accha hua aapne turant message kardiya (It was a significant crisis... It was commendable that you messaged us promptly).”

Nushrratt responded, "Thank you so much, sir. I just wanted to express my deepest gratitude...." The Prime Minister then conversed with her in Gujarati, leading to a moment of shared laughter and interaction. The video concluded with Nushrratt respectfully folding her hands in front of the Prime Minister.

In her post sharing the video, Nushrratt expressed her sentiments with the caption, "I am truly honored and immensely grateful for the once-in-a-lifetime chance to meet the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the CNN-News18 Rising Bharat Summit! It was a remarkable privilege to personally thank you, Modi Ji, for your steadfast leadership and the prompt actions taken by your government to repatriate Indian citizens, including myself, who were stranded in Israel during the recent conflict."

Additionally, she wrote a short note in Gujarati, stating, “Aap no aa mulakat badal khub khub aabhar. Maari mate aa zindagi bhar ni yaadgir reh se,” which translates to, "It was an honor to meet you. I will cherish this memory for my entire life."

Nushrratt found herself in Tel Aviv, Israel, in 2023 when a conflict erupted between the country's security forces and Hamas. She was later rescued by Indian officials.

Regarding Nushrratt's latest film

Chhorii 2, directed by Vishal Furia, it premiered on Prime Video on Friday. The film also stars Soha Ali Khan, Gashmeer Mahajani, Saurabh Goyal, Pallavi Ajay, Kuldeep Sareen, and Hardika Sharma. This sequel to the 2021 horror success Chhorii delves into the unsettling aspects of folklore, gender inequality, and a mother's unwavering commitment to her daughter.
