Actor Nushrratt Bharuccha, who is enjoying the success of her recent film Chhorrii 2, recently shared insights about her financial difficulties during her college years and how that has influenced her money management practices today.

In a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, the Pyaar Ka Punchnama actress discussed her approach to managing her finances, noting that she works in a field where future paychecks are uncertain. "Very early on, I had decided how much I would spend in a month, my basic needs and everything that is left after that is automatically sent to investments and savings. The money never comes to my account. The accountants are instructed to send the money to the wealth manager to invest it," the actress stated.

Nushrat opens up about her financial difficulties in her early days

The 39-year-old actor acknowledged that the sense of financial discipline developed early in her life as she faced difficulties since her childhood when her parents were experiencing a financial crisis. “Therefore, I was mindful of not spending his money. For 90 percent of my college life, over five years at college, I managed to spend only ₹8 each day, and that amount was dedicated to travel. I would take the train and then the bus to college, attend classes, and then return home. The only free offering at Jai Hindi College was water, so whenever I felt hungry, I would drink water. ”

Nushratt's newest project

Nushrat's most recent movie, Chhorii 2, helmed by Vishal Furia, premiered on Prime Video earlier this month. Chhorii also stars Soha Ali Khan, Gashmeer Mahajani, Saurabh Goyal, Pallavi Ajay, Kuldeep Sareen, and Hardika Sharma. It serves as a follow-up to the 2021 horror success Chhorii. The film delves into the sinister aspects of folklore, gender inequality, and a mother's unwavering commitment to her child.
