A lighthearted interaction between actress Nithya Menen and director Mysskin during the trailer launch of her forthcoming film Kadhalikka Neramillai in Chennai is circulating widely on X (formerly Twitter). Videos shared by fans on X depict Nithya recognizing Mysskin as he passes by. Upon spotting him, she enthusiastically points and exclaims, “Look who it is! Please don’t squeeze me or squish me. I’m all dressed up, so let’s not do that.” Mysskin responds with a smile, leaning down so that she can kiss his cheek, while he kisses her hand in return. Nithya and Mysskin collaborated on the 2020 film Psycho and maintained a strong rapport.

Fans expressed their enthusiasm for the reactions of Nithya and Mysskin, with many responding with laughter emojis. The trailer launch of Kadhalikka Neramillai, featuring Nithya and Jayam Ravi in the leading roles, was graced by the presence of music composers AR Rahman and Anirudh Ravichander. The film is directed by Kiruthiga, the wife of actor and Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Udhayanidhi Stalin. It is scheduled for theatrical release on January 14 in celebration of Pongal.

In addition to her role in Kadhalikka Neramillai, Nithya is set to appear in Dhanush's directorial venture, Idli Kadai, where he will also take on the lead role. She has completed filming for a project titled Dear Exes and is collaborating with Vijay Sethupathi in his upcoming film. Following the release of Psycho in 2020, Mysskin has not yet unveiled a new project. The release of Pisaasu II has been postponed, and his film Train, featuring Vijay Sethupathi, is currently in post-production. Mysskin was last seen in Leo and Devil, and he is also involved in Love Insurance Kompany and Dragon.
