Speculations about their divorce have been on the air for the last few months. It is heard that Jisshu U Sengupta is in a live-in relationship with one of his colleagues in Mumbai. However, Jisshuand his wife Nilanjanaa kept mum regarding the incident, though she removed her post-marriage ‘Sengupta’ surname from her name.  

Glimpses of a podcast named Straight Up With Shree were shared, where Nilanjanaa was the guest. The promo video showed the ex-actress and producer Nilanjanaa talking about many things. She said that she bought her house and car herself. Until this point in time, her father did not want to give her the money she earned. It angered her, said Nilanjanaa. She said, “Perhaps I am not that good…and I had to come out of this thought.” 

Nilanjanaa introduced herself as Jisshu’s wife. She said, “I don’t understand this thought. I might be a star’s wife, but does that mean you can judge or insult me?” She also gave a message to her daughters, Zara and Sara. “I tell this to every woman, even my daughters. You can stop working if you want to. But always do something which will only be for you.”  

Nilanjanaa spends gala time with her two daughters and her sister Chandana. She frequently shares glimpses of her personal life on social media.
