A close friend of the couple shared with the media, “Nick may not be the oldest Jonas brother, but he definitely takes charge and sets the direction for the band. His intense perfectionism in every TJB project has also influenced his marriage.” In contrast to his older brother Joe, whose five-year marriage to Sophie Turner ended in a complicated custody dispute in 2023, Nick is seen as being very meticulous in his relationship with Priyanka.

The friend told Life & Style, “It’s not that he’s overly demanding of Priyanka; it’s just that he has incredibly high expectations for himself as a husband and partner.
