Neetu Kapoor's thoughts about her daughter-in-law

In an episode of India's Most Desirable, hosted by Simi Garewal, Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor's mom, made a memorable virtual appearance where she openly discussed her idea of the perfect daughter-in-law.

She said, “There are two types of girls: one comes with scissors and the other with a needle. The scissors girl breaks the family apart, while the needle girl stitches it back together. She ensures everyone stays connected. That’s the kind of girl I want.”

This nostalgic clip has made its way back to Instagram, blending old footage of Neetu's interview with current photos, showcasing the lovely relationship she now has with her daughter-in-law, Alia Bhatt.

Alia and Ranbir's romantic journey

Alia and Ranbir started their romance while filming Ayan Mukerji's 2022 fantasy blockbuster, Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva. They got married at Ranbir's home in Mumbai in April 2022 and welcomed their daughter, Raha, in November of that same year. Alia often shares little glimpses of their family life during interviews and public events.

“Raha and Ranbir have a bond that’s truly special. They share a friendship,” Alia mentioned to host Kapil Sharma in a recent episode.

She continued, “Ranbir will say things like, ‘Want to go touch the clothes in the cupboard?’ and Raha will eagerly agree. They’ll dive into a sensory play session with the fabrics, where he’ll explain, ‘This is velvet, this is suede, this is cotton,’ turning it into a fun learning experience.”

In a surprising move, Alia recently deleted all the photos showing her daughter Raha's face from her official Instagram account.
