The much-anticipated documentary film Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale is all set to premiere on Netflix on November 18. The documentary film will give scores of her fans a glimpse into the actor's personal and professional life, her career as an actor, and the stardom she has garnered over a period. Nayanthara also opens up about her love life, and subsequent marriage to filmmaker Vignesh Shivan.

Nayanthara talks about the moment she fell in love with Vignesh Shivan

Actor Nayanthara is married to filmmaker Vignesh Shivan, after falling in love with him while working in the film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan . In the upcoming documentary film Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale, the actor speaks about the exact moment she realised something special about Vignesh Shivan.

In the clip, Nayanthara recalls a day when they were shooting on the streets of Pondicherry for the film, and as she was waiting for her shot, she saw Vignesh Shivan filming a scene with Vijay Sethupathi. "For some strange reason, I looked at him and I looked at him differently. The first thing I thought was, he is a cute guy. The way he was explaining things and functioning as a director,” she added.

Vignesh Shivan also recollected how even after the film was wrapped up, he missed being on sets, something even Nayanthara had shared. “I am not going to lie and anyone would check out a beautiful girl and compliment her in our minds. But I did not see Nayan mam that way." Nayanthara also opens up how it was the first time she took the step forward, while understanding they can talk in different wave.

Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale is all set to stream on Netflix from November 18 onwards. The documentary film is helmed by Amrith Krishnan, and has exclusive interviews and insights into the life of Nayanthara’s professional and personal lives.
