Actor Nayanthara reached out to her fans with a heartfelt message, asking them to just call her by her name instead of Lady Superstar. On X (formerly Twitter) this Tuesday, she mentioned that while titles and awards are valuable, they can sometimes create a barrier between her and her work. She also took a moment to thank her fans for their unwavering love and support.

Nayanthara started her letter with, "Hello to my wonderful fans, respected media folks, and everyone in the film industry. I want to express my gratitude for all the joy and success I've experienced as an actress. I truly hope this message reaches you and your loved ones in great health and happiness."

The actress expressed her gratitude towards her fans, saying they've always supported her. "My life has been like an open book, beautifully decorated with your endless love and support. Whether it was a reassuring pat on the back during my successes or a helping hand in tough times, you’ve always stood by me. So many of you have kindly called me 'Lady Superstar', a name that reflects your deep affection. I truly appreciate all of you for giving me such an incredible title," she shared.

Nayanthara's movies are quite something

Nayanthara is now part of the cast for Mahesh Narayanan's highly awaited Malayalam film, currently known as MMMN. This movie marks the first time in 16 years that Mohanlal and Mammootty will share the screen. Additionally, she will appear in Rakkayie, a period-action drama helmed by Senthil Nallasamy. The film is being produced by Drumstick Productions and Movieverse Studios, featuring music by Govind Vasantha and cinematography by Gautham Rajendran.
