Actor Naomi Watts has openly discussed her and her husband, Billy Crudup's intimate life. In a recent appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, the 56-year-old revealed her feelings of 'mortification' during their initial attempt at intimacy, citing an unusual reason for her discomfort. She explained that she was wearing a patch to alleviate her menopause symptoms, which caused her to feel a sense of panic.

Naomi Watts recounted on the show, “I excused myself and hurried to the bathroom, feeling a wave of panic. I thought to myself, what am I going to do? I was in there for quite a while, and when I finally emerged, I appeared quite frazzled. He asked me, ‘Are you alright? Are you not in the mood?’ I responded, ‘No, it’s just that I’m going through menopause, I’m undergoing treatment, and I have this patch that leaves a mark. I feel old; should I just leave?’”

Her honest admission had the audience in laughter, while host Drew Barrymore appeared both entertained and slightly worried. Watts subsequently shared that her now-husband provided a reassuring response that helped ease her anxiety. She remarked, "I am doing my utmost to apologize and I feel diminished. He replied, 'We are the same age. What is this? This is science. How can I assist?’” This prompted several heartfelt reactions from the studio audience.

Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup's romantic journey began in 2017 when they met on the set of the Netflix series Gypsy. At that time, both were 49 years old. The couple married in 2023 and later celebrated their union with a second ceremony in Mexico, surrounded by family, the following year.
