Former actress, model, and beauty pageant titleholder Namrata Shirodkar celebrated her 53rd birthday on January 22. Her husband, actor Mahesh Babu, along with their children Sitara and Gautam Ghattamaneni, shared previously unseen photographs on Instagram to commemorate the occasion and extend their birthday wishes.

Mahesh posted a photograph of Namrata in a snowy setting, referring to her as an 'incredible woman.' He expressed, “Happy Birthday, NSG! I appreciate you for bringing brightness and improvement to each day. Today, we celebrate the remarkable woman you are, both now and forever!” The image depicts Namrata warmly dressed, seated beside Christmas trees, with a snowy landscape and a vacation home in the background.

Sitara shared an endearing selfie taken with Namrata during one of their vacations, captioning it, “I adore you immensely, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have you in my life. Wishing you the most joyful birthday, Amma; you truly deserve everything and beyond!” In response, Namrata commented, “Love you, my people.”

Gautam, currently pursuing his acting studies in the United States, appeared to feel a heightened sense of longing for his mother today. He expressed his sentiments by writing, “Happy Birthday, Amma! This day is dedicated to you, and I miss you immensely. I am grateful for all that you have done and continue to do for us. Love you!” Along with his message, he shared a nostalgic photograph featuring himself, Namrata, and Sitara during a vacation.

About Namrata Shirodkar

Namrata gained prominence after being crowned Miss India in 1993. She is the granddaughter of the esteemed Marathi actor Meenakshi Shirodkar and the older sister of actress Shilpa Shirodkar. Following her success in the pageant, she pursued modelling before making her film debut in 1998 alongside Salman Khan in Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai.

In 2000, she met Mahesh on the set of the Telugu film Vamsi, and they developed a romantic relationship. The couple married in Hyderabad in 2005. Her most recent film appearance was in the 2004 English movie Bride and Prejudice. Mahesh is set to appear in an upcoming film directed by SS Rajamouli, which is also speculated to feature Priyanka Chopra in a leading role.
