Comedy backed by powerhouse

Nagzilla is a comedic film produced by Mahaveer Jain, known for his work on Baazigar and Josh, alongside Karan Johar. Aaryan will commence work on this project following the completion of Tu Meri Main Tera Main Mera Tu Meri. The film is directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, celebrated for the critically acclaimed Fukrey series. Reports suggest that Lamba is embarking on the most audacious and exhilarating phase of his directing career with Nagzilla.

Anticipation is growing as insiders reveal that Aaryan will portray two distinct roles in the film.

Nagzilla offers a humorous take on the traditional human versus snake narrative, with the most unexpected element being Aaryan's dual characters. An insider shared with Bollywood Hungama that these two roles will navigate the fine line between heroism and villainy, reminiscent of Shah Rukh Khan's performance in Jawan, but infused with comedic elements.

The film's unconventional premise has led industry experts to predict its success.

An anonymous source claimed that Nagzilla is more humorous than all the Fukrey films combined, and Lamba is prepared to embark on the most ambitious and thrilling chapter of his directing career.

Vision brought to life

It is reported that Lamba and Jain initially conceived the film, with Johar later joining to help develop it. Jain worked closely with Lamba on the script, while Johar played a crucial role in bringing the project to fruition. According to sources, filming is set to commence in September, once Tu Meri Main Tera Main Mera Tu Meri is completed.

Aaryan has undoubtedly established himself among Bollywood's elite, having reportedly been offered an impressive Rs. 50 crore for his role in these upcoming films.

Release date

Nagzilla is set to debut in the latter part of 2026, following the commencement of filming in September 2025.
