In a message posted on X, Nagarjuna expressed his thanks for the Prime Minister's thoughtful remarks regarding his father. Additionally, his son, Naga Chaitanya, and daughter-in-law, Sobhita Dhulipala, also took to Instagram to share their sentiments.

What Sobhita, Chaitanya wrote

Sobhita recently posted on Instagram, showcasing Nageswara Rao alongside Prime Minister Modi. The caption on the image expressed gratitude, stating, "Thank you, Shri Modi ji, for your kind remarks regarding Akkineni Nageswara Rao Garu's artistic contributions and his significant role in the development of the remarkable Telugu film industry as we recognize it today. Your acknowledgement is particularly meaningful coming from a distinguished figure like yourself! I am profoundly thankful (folded hands emoji)." Additionally, her husband, actor Naga Chaitanya, also shared the same post.

Prime Minister Modi commended Akkineni Nageswara Rao during his speech, stating, "Akkineni Nageswara Rao Garu elevated Telugu cinema to unprecedented levels. His films effectively showcased Indian traditions and values." Additionally, in his final Mann Ki Baat address of 2024 on Sunday, the Prime Minister honoured Raj Kapoor, Mohammed Rafi, and Tapan Sinha.
