Accompanying a poster from the film, she stated, "#Thandel release day tomorrow! Excitement (chart increasing emojis). I have witnessed your dedication and positivity throughout the production of this film, and I eagerly await for everyone (including myself) to experience this extraordinary love story in theatres starting tomorrow (red heart emoji)."
Sobhita mentions seeing Chaitanya's face
Additionally, Sobhita included a short note in Telugu, which translated to, "Finally, you will shave your beard, and I will see your face for the first time, dear @chayakkineni." Chaitanya subsequently shared her post on his own Instagram Stories, expressing his gratitude with the message, "Thank you, my bujjithalli (red heart emoji)."

Sobhita's comment regarding Naga Chaitanya's appearance follows a recent anecdote shared by Thandel producer Allu Aravind during a promotional event. At her wedding, Sobhita inquired of Aravind when she would next see her husband's face, to which he responded that it would be on February 7.
Chaitanya and Sobhita were married on December 4, with the ceremony taking place at the renowned Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, attended by close friends and family.
In a recent conversation with the news agency PTI, Chaitanya discussed his role in Thandel. He revealed that he dedicated two years to preparing for the character of Raju, a fisherman. He emphasized the importance of refining his physical appearance and mannerisms to accurately portray a fisherman’s body language. “I immersed myself in this character for an extended period. We conducted numerous workshops to focus on these details. We approached this film with patience, dedicating two years to it without taking on other commitments. This has been the longest duration I have devoted to a film.”
When asked about collaborating with Sobhita, Chaitanya mentioned that they are awaiting the “right” script. He expressed that if they find a project that resonates with both of them, they would certainly consider it.
Thandel, a romantic drama directed by Chandoo Mondeti, tells the story of a fisherman who becomes lost at sea and inadvertently drifts into Pakistani waters, resulting in his capture and subsequent imprisonment in a Pakistani jail.
In addition to Chaitanya, the film features Sai Pallavi. Thandel was produced by Bunny Vasu under Geetha Arts and presented by the esteemed producer Allu Aravind. The film is set to be released in theatres on February 7.
