Actor Naga Chaitanya is really looking forward to his new movie, Thandel, directed by Chandoo Mondeti, and he’s hoping it becomes a hit. Just a day before the film hits theaters, he took some time to answer fan questions in a fun Q&A video with Sai Pallavi, where one of the questions was about his acting abilities. 

Naga Chaitanya talks about his experience in acting

Pallavi threw a bunch of fan questions at Chaitanya about his career and Thandel. One of them was, “When are you going to learn acting?” Chaitanya looked a bit puzzled at the camera and responded, “What do you mean, when will I learn?”

But he quickly bounced back with a grin, saying, “Honestly, it’s an ongoing journey; you’re always picking up new things. I don’t think you ever really reach a point where you can say you’ve learned it all. If you stop evolving as an actor, then you’re not moving forward…there’s no growth. I’m still learning every day.”

Fans were quick to tag the person who asked the question in the comments, making sure they knew their query got a response. One commenter said, “I’m really happy Chay addressed that acting question. It’s great to see he recognizes his acting isn’t perfect and is actually trying to improve instead of just denying it.” Another added, “That was a really mature response to the question.”

Recently, there's been new work

Chaitanya was last spotted in the 2022 movie Thank You and the 2023 flick Custody, but neither really took off at the box office. He made his Hindi film debut in 2022 with Laal Singh Chaddha alongside Aamir Khan. In 2023, he appeared in the Prime Video series Dhootha, which got some positive feedback. His upcoming film Thandel is set to hit theaters on February 7. This marks his third collaboration with Chandoo after Premam and Savyasachi, and his second project with Pallavi following Love Story.
