Naga Chaitanya was born in Hyderabad but spent nearly twenty years growing up in Chennai. While his first language is Telugu, he also picked up Tamil during his time there. He went to school at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan and AMM School in Chennai.

In an interview, Naga mentioned, “In our industry, we encounter a lot of people from various language backgrounds. Just hearing that familiar tone of Telugu and feeling that warmth when chatting with someone really brings me closer to them. I always tell her to keep speaking to me in Telugu so I can get better at it.”

He added, “When it comes to actors, we often try to share something about our films or a product, and a lot of it is pretty staged. So, when something genuine and real about a person comes up, I just can’t help but be drawn to that kind of content.”

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala tied the knot on December 4, surrounded by close friends and family at the famous Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. The wedding was a lively celebration of Telugu traditions, with rituals led by family elders.

For her big day, Sobhita chose a stunning gold Kanjivaram silk saree adorned with real gold zari, paying tribute to her heritage. Chaitanya looked dapper in a classic white outfit. After their wedding, the couple made their first public appearance as newlyweds on December 6 at the Srisailam temple in Andhra Pradesh.

Chaitanya was previously married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and they announced their split in a joint statement on social media back in October 2021.
