Actor Naga Chaitanya, who is typically reserved on social media, made an uncommon Instagram post that provided fans a look into his relaxed Sunday with his wife, Sobhita Dhulipala. However, all that the fans of his ex-wife Samantha Ruth Prabhu could notice was their dog Hash, whom he shares with her post-divorce.

Naga Chaitanya’s relaxed Sunday

“Sunday everything’s,” Chaitanya captioned his Instagram post, sharing three pictures. The first image features Hash gazing down at him from the upper part of a staircase. The second photo captures Sobhita and Hash amusingly lying on the ground in a matching pose and unwinding. The third image depicts Hash with Chaitanya as he retrieves his toolkit to repair one of his cars.

“Daddy and the son,” read one comment beneath the post, while another noted, “Hash is back. ” Samantha’s supporters, however, really engaged in the comments, inquiring Chaitanya about what he was doing with ‘her dog’. “I thought. . . She is sam,” commented one fan regarding the image of Sobhita and Hash. “Sam dog,” highlighted another. One fan quipped, “Like chay. . . hash is also a divorced child. ” Many comments stated, “That’s Sam’s dog,” under the post.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s divorce from Naga Chaitanya

Samantha and Chaitanya have been separated since 2022. The couple celebrated a two-day wedding in Goa in 2017 and were united in Hindu and Christian ceremonies. Samantha omitted the surname Akkineni from her social media in 2021, sparking speculation about their separation. Since their divorce, they co-parent their pet Hash.

Chaitanya has been involved with Sobhita since 2022 and wed her in an intimate ceremony in Hyderabad at the family-owned Annapurna Studios in 2024. He has frequently clarified in interviews that Sobhita had no connection to his divorce from Samantha.

Chaitanya will soon feature in a film that is yet to be titled, directed by Karthik Varma Dandu. Samantha will appear in Raj and DK’s Netflix series Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom.
