When questioned about his divorce and subsequent marriage, Chaitanya expressed his concern for Sobhita, stating that he feels regret for her situation. He remarked, “More than myself, I feel sympathy for her. She does not deserve this. She is not at fault in any way. Our relationship developed in a natural and beautiful manner. We connected through social media, met casually, and gradually became friends, nurturing our bond from there. She had no ties to my past whatsoever. Therefore, it pains me when people speak ill of her. It is unjust to involve her in this.”

The actor further noted that Sobhita Dhulipala handled the situation with “understanding, patience, and maturity,” referring to her as a “true hero” for enduring the public scrutiny following the revelation of their relationship. Reflecting on his divorce, Chaitanya described himself as a “child of a broken family,” stating, “I am a child of a broken family. Thus, I contemplate extensively before ending a relationship. It was a mutual decision; it was not a sudden occurrence. I certainly regret that it transpired. However, I believe everything happens for a reason.”
