Nadanna Sambhavam star Sudhy Kopa: ‘Making an OTT debut wasn't the only goal of working on Eyes’| Exclusive

Sudhy Kopa discussed his impending OTT debut with Manu Ashokan's Malayalam web series, Eyes, in a conversation with OTTplay. The project should soon be available for streaming on Sony LIV. The actor, whose latest film Nadanna Sambhavam is now accessible on Manorama Max, mentioned that he was inspired to commit to the web series by his collaboration with its incredible creators.
The thing that most excited him, he said, was being a part of the Sanjay-Bobby project, not just making his digital debut. Though Eyes has fewer scenes for him, Sudhy noted that he has always loved the director's and renowned screenwriters' works. As such, he felt that working on the film was worthwhile given its big canvas and making style.
“Cannot predict if a film would work or not”
The Aadu star clarified that an initial screenplay cannot be used to determine whether a movie will succeed or fail after its release. "Being cast in a blockbuster or hit movie can be challenging for me, but I usually get offered opportunities to be in films that people will definitely watch, regardless of the platform," he continued.
Even though a subject might seem like it would work at times, Sudhy asserted that there could be problems with execution for a variety of reasons. The actor continued by saying that since no one would knowingly offer their average for their product, specific situations might have an impact on the outcome, leading to its failure in box office.
"Healthy criticism is beneficial because, of course, no one is giving away free tickets to see a movie in a theatre. Although everyone is free to express their opinions, it might be hard when someone makes personal insults or disparage someone else's hard work," he stated.
“Nadanna Sambhavam works out for its subject”
Sudhy underlined that Nadanna Sambhavam, directed by Vishnu Narayan, is certain to resonate with the audience because of its relatable subject matter and characters. "Every character in it is undoubtedly someone we have seen or interacted with at some point in our lives. He stated that the film will appeal to viewers due to its narrative style and performances.
