Munawar Faruqui took his fans by surprise recently. He posted a photo informing his fans that he is no longer in detention in the hookah bar raid. Now, the Bigg Boss 17 winner is out and has made his first public appearance. He was spotted at Patna Shuklla screening.

Munawar Faruqui was seen posing with Arhaan Khan at the Patna Shuklla screening. Arhaan is the movie’s producer Arbaaz Khan’s son. Munawar went for comfortable formals with black leather shoes. Arhaan, on the other hand, was seen in blue denims, white shoes, white shirt with magenta sweatshirt and matching cap.

Bigg Boss 17 reunion

The screening marked one more Bigg Boss 17 reunion, including Arbaaz Khan, who was one of the hosts on the show. Apart from the winner Munawar, Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, KhanZaadi and Soniya Bansal were seen at the screening. Interestingly, even though KhanZaadi and Soniya did not get along as well on the show, they bonded well at the screening of the movie which is slated to release on Disney+Hotstar on March 29.

Munawar made fun of the detention situation and posted ‘Tera Pyaar Pyaar,’ which is a direct reference to the song Hookah Bar from Akshay Kumar-Asin’s movie Khiladi 786. He shared a selfie for the same.

The case

Munawar was among the 14 people detained during a raid at a hookar bar in Mumbai’s Bori Bazar. The police verified the same on Wednesday. The selfie came hours after the detention news broke. On Tuesday, the police said that the hookah parlour was run illegally. They seized Rs. 4,400 in cash and nine hookah pots worth Rs. 13,500 during the raid which commenced at 10.30 pm on Tuesday and went on till 5 am on Wednesday. Munawar was found smoking hookah when the raid happened. He was arrested and almost immediately bailed out, after being served notice.
