A newly released promotional clip indicates that Munawar Faruqui, the winner of Bigg Boss 17, will be making an appearance on the show, delighting the audience with his sharp wit and humour. In the promo, he is shown playfully roasting Karan Veer Mehra and Rajat Dalal, providing entertainment that is not to be overlooked.

Munawar Faruqui takes over Bigg Boss 18

In the New Year's special promotion, the housemates are depicted enjoying a leisurely time in the garden while Munawar guarantees an abundance of laughter. The promo opens with the comedian addressing Rajat, stating, "Rajat bhai, no matter how many U-turns you claim, these are children; they have yet to witness your driving." This remark elicits the loudest applause from the housemates.

Subsequently, he turns his attention to Karan Veer Mehra, playfully teasing him about his alleged romantic involvement with Chum Darang. Munawar quips, "Karan bhai, there is a state in North-East India," to which the group responds, "Arunachal." Munawar then humorously retorts, "No, sasural," causing everyone to burst into laughter. He continues, "Indian states will also be recognized by similar names. Karan's sasural 1, Karan's sasural 2..." Karan joins the banter, humorously commenting, "I am celebrating marriages like birthdays." It is noteworthy that Karan was previously married to Devika Mehra and Nidhi Seth but has since divorced them.
